Here we have a nicely made and presented 4 1/2" Burrell agricultural, made to the well respected and proven Plastow design. Although 4 1/2" scale, the engine works out broadly the same size and weight as your average 4" Foster and Garrett due to the huge size of the full size engines from those manufacturers.
This model is less than 10 years old with a professional Bell steel boiler, but it has seen very little use over that period. She's had one owner from new, who has only driven her properly once, for a road run of couple of miles, preferring to steam her up in his back yard, beer in hand and watch the flywheel tick over! To that end, she's only been steamed around 10 times in her life, and always blown down, and dry stored. The engine is also fully road registered, boiler certificated and ready to play with a fresh 10 year hydraulic test in place.
